AeroAstro Awarded Multimillion Dollar Appliqué Contract

SENS/Simplex Service Expands to Near Global Coverage

Ashburn, VA, June 22, 2005 /PR NEWSWIRE/ AeroAstro, a microsatellite technology pioneer, today announced the award of a contract from Globalstar, LLC for 7 SENS Appliqués. The Appliqués are the technical core of AeroAstro’s Sensor Enabled Notification System (SENS), the patented technology underlying the Globalstar Simplex Data Service - a highly affordable satellite-based monitoring and asset tracking data system.

The AeroAstro/Globalstar Simplex Data communication system provides a uniquely affordable and reliable solution for ubiquitous (outdoor) coverage in the US and Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. Installation of the new Appliqués will significantly expand the system’s coverage area. "Our customers love their SENS service – it is low cost, simple to use, and highly reliable. Globalstar is currently finalizing the location of the 7 new Appliqués, with installation scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2006.
